In 2023 a group of residents and friends of Sugar Creek, Missouri, began meeting once a month to promote business, government, civic, and nonprofit interests in what we hoped would eventually become a chamber of commerce. Our group was made up of local business owners, members of local nonprofits, members and officers of several fraternal organizations, and some city officials. During the summer of 2024, we formalized our first board, and in the fall and winter of 2024, we welcomed our charter members to the Sugar Creek Chamber of Commerce.

Upcoming content will include a Member Directory, Business of the Month (BoM!) promotion, our meeting and social Calendar, online application, meeting minutes, bylaws, and benefits of membership. We’ll also be plugging our member’s activities, events, and promotions. Stay tuned!
